The Hobbs Seventh-day Adventist Church was first established as the Hobbs-Lovington Company on May 16, 1959. However, in 1962, the Hobbs and Lovington Company divided for the advancement of the work and Hobbs became its own church. Today, it is an active and growing congregation that enjoys working in many areas of ministry including evangelism, Children’s Ministries and in broadcast/media ministry. The Hobbs church owns a TV and Radio station and it is currently in the process of building a new media facility that will house its media equipment.
